Kattemölle graduated from the Royal academy of fine arts in The Hague (monumental design, graphic design) and the academy of fine arts in Utrecht (art direction & conceptdevelopment). In 1992 he founded eyedesignBNO. A studio for graphic design & art direction with clients out of Industry, welfare, housing corporations and public services. The studio works on corporate identities, campagnes, and print such as posters, books, brochures and magazines.

Later on Kattemölle founded eyedesignBNO collective, a colloboration of young talented creatives such as photographers, webdesigners, filmmakers and other digital nerds to realize great and remarkable digital productions.

In 2014 he was the co-founder, publisher and art director of Gett magazine. A dutch Indie magazine for a young public (print and online). The content was again, made by promising young writers, photographers and illustrators. The magazine was not mainstream, the subjects were about remarkable people, sub cultures and different lifestyles.

One of his favourite slogans is: ’see opportunities where others only see junk’
