Dieter Fornoff was born in Erbach, Germany, in 1956. After completing an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic in 1976, he went on to study product design at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, receiving his diploma in 1984. He founded Puls Produktdesign soon after, together with Eberhard Klett and Andreas Ries. Their work for well-known clients has received numerous international design awards. For over 25 years, Dieter has been leading and managing the design team and has significantly influenced the design strategies of market-leading international companies.
Puls Produktdesign GmbH is one of Germany’s most successful product design companies.
The company made history with its invention of the first stair-climbing and roadworthy electric wheelchairs and as a pioneer of ultramodern design for dentistry.
