Sven Adolph runs design consultancy Momentum in Zurich, Switzerland, which is active in developing consumer electronics, furniture, and lighting. He holds a diploma from HFG Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills MI, USA. He is a former Fulbright scholar with a broad experience in the design profession, having honed his skills at international design consultancies in Boston, San Francisco, Milan, and Zurich, as well as with Philips Design. As a professional, he has produced or co-produced a wide range of award-winning work for top-tier clients.

“When working on a design, I try to see the form of an object less as the end of the design process and more as the beginning of the user’s experience. I look at objects as carriers of information about both past and potential experiences. Objects shape situations and attain their significance by engaging the user physically and emotionally.
