ADesignStudio is returning to Milan as an exhibitor at Local Design as part of the Salone del Mobile events, especially given this year’s theme is LIGHT!
ADesignStudio’s exhibiton will focus on new product releases including the Greenway Crackle and Crackle Vase. Just in time for Milan, there will be extensions to the Greenway Crackle Collection making way for a new wall sconce and table lamp. They will also be introducing an entirely new collection of table and floor lamps which they affectionately refer to as the Basel Collection. The exhibition will showcase lighting (and home accessories!) at varying scales which will greatly expand the design applications with the new product releases.
ADesignStudio is also participating in Local Design’s exclusive collection for Asian luxury department store Lane Crawford. Curated by Local Design founder Emma Elizabeth, the collection will be first released in Hong Kong during the week of Art Basel and also shown at Local Design in Milan. For this, ADesignStudio has created custom Greenway Crackle pendants and Crackle Vases in a series of special-edition colours only available through Lane Crawford. Don’t miss the chance to see these colours in Milan!
All the activities kick off on the 8th of April and run through to the 14th. GREENWAY CRACKLE
The Greenway Crackle is collection that references Sydney’s maritime architecture and Richard Kelly’s principles of light. Greenway Crackle’s glass components are handblown into five shapes like the deconstructed forms of the Macquarie lighthouse appointed in ADesignStudio's custom crackle glass. The collection will be extended in Milan with the launch of new wall-sconce and table lamp designs.

CRACKLE VASE
Provocative and ornamental, the Crackle Vase exists within a fine line between strength and fragility. At first glance, ADesignStudio’s custom crackle glass finish appears as if it is already fractured and it is a wonder that it holds together at all. Embracing the tenuous nature of the material and finish the Crackle Vase is designed with curved base, as if defying gravity to maintain a delicate balance.
