The ICMA - International Creative Media Award

The ICMA - International Creative Media Award - is a worldwide competition that covers the entire field of classic graphic design in print and online. There are four different areas: Custom Media, Books, Logos & Corporate Design and Magazines. The results provide an overview of current trends in graphic design.
The jury decides on awards in gold, silver and bronze. There are also Awards of Excellence for particularly successful individual achievements. Prize winners receive a certificate. There are many examples on the competition website showing how well designers and agencies use the awards for their advertising.
The competition is open to all persons or companies of all nationalities, birthplaces or places of residence.
The competition is very well established and will be held for the tenth time this year. The first nine competitions attracted 2998 entries from a total of 27 countries. Prize winners came from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, Finland, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany.
The winners show that the competition has a good reputation, as large design agencies and individual designers take part in this competition.

--- Revealing trends: The results of the competition give every creative person the opportunity to classify their object in an international comparison and to quickly optimize their own product.
--- External impact: Winners report intensively on their websites and in the print media about the awards they have won. They underline their quality standards and at the same time promote their work.
--- Think tank: Publications about the winners in the ICMA Yearbook and www.icma-award.com encourage creativity.
** The entry fees are affordable: Custom Media 180 euros per entry, books 90 euros, logos 90 euros, magazines 180 euros. The easiest way to pay is via Paypal.
*** The closing date for entries is 1 October 2019. There is a deadline of 10 October. A 20 percent higher participation fee will then be charged.
